"Settling the Score..." Reirin's Knuckle-Cracking Draw Reaction: "Such a Musclehead lol" "Look at This Face" / Though I Am an Inept Villainess Episode 4

Episode 4 of the anime Though I Am an Inept Villainess: Tale of the Butterfly-Rat Swap in the Maiden Court was broadcast on August 2 (broadcasting sequentially). Depicting Kou Reirin (voiced by Manaka Iwami / after body swap: Natsumi Kawaida) trying to make the person who threatened her attendant settle the score, it invited laughter from viewers who commented, "She's become a martial artist lol."

Due to Shu Keigetsu's (voiced by Natsumi Kawaida / after body swap: Manaka Iwami) evil scheme, Reirin's body has been swapped with hers. In Episode 4, "My Comet," upon learning that Keigetsu's court lady Riirii (voiced by Hana Hishikawa) was threatened by Gayō, a senior court lady of the Kin family, Reirin released a dark aura while smiling, saying, "I shall go and settle the score."

For the time being, Riirii declined Reirin's offer and went to settle things with Gayō herself, but returned without being able to meet her. Reirin then cracked her knuckles with a beaming smile, saying, "If a resolution could not be reached between court ladies, shouldn't the score be settled between masters—between Lady Seika and myself?"

Reirin thinking of solving everything with her fists despite being a "Hime" (Maiden) led to a stream of viewers bursting into laughter online, with comments such as "Such a musclehead lol," "Look at this face," "Should settle the score lol," "That sound is scary lol," and "She's become a martial artist lol."
