To celebrate the July 29 Blu-ray and DVD release of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle, a screening event featuring a cast stage greeting was held at TOHO Cinemas Namba on August 9.

Takahiro Sakurai, who voices Giyu Tomioka, and Saori Hayami, who voices Shinobu Kocho, appeared at the event. The two characters have completed numerous missions together as fellow Hashira over the course of the story, but this marked the first time the Water Hashira and the Insect Hashira had appeared together at an event on their own. The event opened with a lively in-character exchange between the two, instantly raising the energy in the venue.

During the audience Q&A session, when asked, "Now that the Blu-ray and DVD are out, is there a scene you'd like to watch over and over?" Sakurai gave a nod to the battle between Tanjiro and Akaza, but answered, "The scene I want to watch again and again is the fight between Shinobu and Doma." He explained his reasoning: "I want to carefully rewatch at home the shock I felt seeing it in theaters. The battle with Doma was so memorable, especially combined with Shinobu's emotions." Hayami, meanwhile, picked "the scene right before Doma appears," saying, "I felt like the whole screen was filled with this unique, invisible atmosphere, and it's one of my favorite scenes, so I'd love to experience it again at home." She added, "I'd also like to watch the exchange between Zenitsu and his grandfather again."

Next, when asked about how their impressions of each character had changed, Sakurai praised the scene where Shinobu's emotions come to the surface in a moment of "anger," saying, "I really loved that scene. Thanks to Hayami's skillful performance, I could feel a kind of beauty within that anger." Hayami reflected on Tomioka, sharing her own interpretation: "From early on, I felt he held himself back, as if he didn't believe he deserved to be there as a Hashira, but I felt that his outlook changed a great deal because of things like Tanjiro's presence."
