A key visual and commemorative comments from the original author, Atamoto, have been released for the anime "Tanuki to Kitsune," which will begin broadcasting in October. Furthermore, release information for the latest volume of the comics has also been announced.

This work is based on the popular comic by Atamoto, which has surpassed 1.35 million copies in total series circulation. It depicts the heartwarming everyday life of two good friends: a slightly goofy Tanuki and a slightly mischievous Fox.

The released key visual features the catchphrase, "Just being with you makes every day special," alongside the familiar Tanuki and Fox happily stuffing their cheeks with onigiri. With a large gathering of characters—including rabbits and other friends enjoying dango, as well as a bear and a wolf peeking from the shade of the trees—the artwork perfectly captures the gentle yet surreal everyday life that unfolds in this lush, nature-filled forest.

Comment from Atamoto

The fact that a TV anime is being produced for our 10th anniversary is entirely thanks to everyone who has supported us thus far. I am truly filled with gratitude. Thank you so much!

Thanks to the hard work of the anime staff, a cute world that is even more lively than the original work is being created, so I would be thrilled if you all enjoy the anime version of "Tanuki to Kitsune."
