As a new product in the "Licca-chan" fashion doll line, "The Apothecary Diaries Maomao Licca-chan" — the first collaboration with the TV anime The Apothecary Diaries — will go on sale from October 24.

The Apothecary Diaries has surpassed 57 million copies in cumulative worldwide sales as a series and enjoys high popularity both in Japan and abroad. The anime's third season is set to begin airing on October 2, and the film The Apothecary Diaries: Bouhi no Hihou' Treasure is set to open on December 11.

"The Apothecary Diaries Maomao Licca-chan" is a special Licca-chan doll made over as Maomao, the series' protagonist. It's a special collaboration edition that faithfully recreates fine details, from Maomao's signature facial freckles and the bandage-like wrap on her left arm to her hairstyle and outfit.

To match her distinctive hair color, the doll uses a shade being introduced for Licca-chan for the first time, with the hairstyle carefully crafted down to the smallest detail. Her striking eye color is a calm blue inspired by Maomao's image. The outfit also reproduces the coloring and silhouette from the series and has been finished with great care. While staying true to Licca-chan's own look, the doll reproduces as much of the series' world as possible, from the coloring to the design of the hair and outfit, aiming to be a collaboration that will delight not only Licca-chan fans but also fans of The Apothecary Diaries.
