"I'm Having a Lot of Fun With It!" — Cosplay of Aqua From KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world!- Skillfully Captures Her Useless-Goddess Charm

Comiket 108 was held at Tokyo Big Sight on August 15–16, 2026. We're featuring photos of cosplayer Mizuame Ringo, who took part dressed as Aqua from KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world!-, along with an interview about the points she focused on in her cosplay and what she'd like to try next.

— Thank you for taking the time for another interview, following our talk at AnimeJapan 2026! What inspired you to cosplay as Aqua from KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world!- this time?

Mizuame Ringo (hereafter, Mizuame): At this year's KonoSuba event, it was announced that KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world!- Season 4 has been confirmed for broadcast, so for this long-awaited sequel, I cosplayed at Comiket.

— What did you want to express through this cosplay?

Mizuame: What I most want to express when cosplaying as Aqua is the "gap." Just like in the series, I love that she's a beautiful water goddess who's also a heavy drinker, a crybaby, and a troublemaker, so I'm having a lot of fun bringing out that "useless goddess" side in my own cosplay too!

— Tell us when you first got into KonoSuba, and what you find most appealing about it.

Mizuame: I started watching it around the same time isekai titles like Re:Zero and Saga of Tanya the Evil were becoming popular. I came to love its comedic, upbeat take on the genre, which felt very different from other isekai shows!
