The Battle Against the Dark Triad Begins! Anime Black Clover 2nd Season Episode 1 Synopsis & Teaser Cuts Revealed

The first teaser cuts and synopsis for Episode 1 of the new anime Black Clover 2nd Season have arrived, along with comments from the cast.

Black Clover is a popular fantasy series by Yuki Tabata that ran in Weekly Shonen Jump and Jump GIGA from February 2015 to May 2026. In the new season, the Dark Triad — who wield the power of high-ranking devils — invade, bringing unprecedented violence and chaos to the Clover Kingdom. Even in a desperate situation where even a Magic Knights captain is taken captive, there are still those who refuse to bow to fate.

The series begins airing on October 3 (Saturday) at 11:00 p.m. on TV Tokyo and affiliated stations.

Asta (voiced by Gakuto Kajiwara), the only person unable to use magic in a world where magic is everything, stakes everything to surpass his limits in order to bring his friends back and fulfill his promise. With the resolve of "I'll defeat you and live," a magic battle that pushes past every limit begins.

Episode 1: "War Begins" — Synopsis<br>The Magic Knights of the Clover Kingdom are preparing to rescue Yami and the others who were taken by the Dark Triad. Having completed the Devil-Binding Ritual, Asta and Liebe are training to master Devil Union, while Yuno is training to defeat Zenon, who once beat him, and to save Vangeance. At the same time, in the Spade Kingdom, Moris, a magic scholar driven out of the Diamond Kingdom, is steadily preparing to open the Gate to the Underworld. The battle between the elite Magic Knights of the Clover Kingdom and the Dark Triad is finally about to begin!
