The main cast of the TV anime Glasses with a Chance of Delinquent has been announced. Hiroto Shimizu will play Dan Ichikura, and Suzuko Hara will play Hiro Momose. A teaser trailer, which gives the two characters' voices their first public showing, has also been released. In addition, comments from the cast and staff have arrived.

The series is a youthful love story about Hiro Momose, a clumsy high school girl who tends to get sent on errands, and Dan Ichikura, a bespectacled model student who is the (former?) most feared delinquent. It first ran as a short serialization in 2021, then won strong reader support, and after the release of volume 2 the comics saw an unusual string of reprints before the serialization resumed in 2022. Eleven volumes are now out, and total circulation has passed 1 million copies. The contrast between a heart-fluttering romantic comedy and a delinquent drew an enthusiastic response, and attention had been focused on the cast ever since the anime adaptation was announced.

Hiroto Shimizu has been cast as Dan Ichikura, the bespectacled model student and (former?) most feared delinquent, and Suzuko Hara as Hiro Momose, who tends to get sent on errands.

The teaser trailer released at the same time is narrated by Ohana, a mysterious creature. It includes the scene where Momose joins the Support Club, which Ichikura heads, and moments where Ichikura, who was supposed to be a model student with glasses, shows a glimpse of the former most feared delinquent. The content hints at the turmoil that the gap between a model student and a delinquent is sure to cause.
