The anime Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- series is based on the popular MF Bunko J novels (original work by Tappei Nagatsuki, illustrations by Shinichiro Otsuka). It is a dark fantasy in which Subaru Natsuki, suddenly lost in another world, confronts a brutal fate using his ability of "Return by Death," dying to turn back time. The Season 4 Loss Arc aired from April to June 2026, and its sequel, the Recapture Arc, began in August of the same year.
Episode 85, "Shaula / Hero." Synopsis: After Emilia discovers a black monolith and six handprints on the uppermost floor, Lukanis, who has regained consciousness, calls out to her as Satella, the Witch of Envy, and attacks once more. Emilia attempts to unleash an ultimate spell to counter the breath of myth. Meanwhile, in the dunes, Julius has rushed to join Subaru and Beatrice, who keep holding the magical beast at bay. The assault on the Pleiades Watchtower, which unites every strength gathered on the journey, enters its final phase. Guren's carapace, dyed a vivid red, crumbles away piece by piece.
