Navel-Baring Running Gear, Tennis, Golf... Blue Box Season 2 Premiere Has Fans Swooning Over Chinatsu's Seven Sportswear Looks

Season 2 of the anime Blue Box, based on the popular romance manga, began airing on October 4. In the premiere, which depicts the long-awaited first date between Taiki Inomata (voiced by Shouya Chiba) and Chinatsu Kano (voiced by Reina Ueda), a scene in which Taiki's daydreams run wild drew attention.

Taiki, a first-year student in the boys' badminton club at Eimei High School, a school known for its strong sports teams, has a crush on Chinatsu, a second-year student and the girls' basketball team's next ace. Episode 26, "Déjà Vu," the premiere of Season 2, depicts the two's first date.

The two go shopping together and first visit a sporting goods store. Suddenly, images of Chinatsu in all sorts of sportswear, including golf, tennis, running, soccer, and skiing outfits, flood Taiki's mind, and he blushes, saying, "Oh no! Honestly, I'm getting carried away!"

Many viewers seem to have been smitten by Chinatsu in sportswear different from what she wears for basketball practice.
