—What did you focus on most with this cosplay?
Izumi: I worked hard to make my makeup and wig styling as close to the character as possible! Also, since my height is close to Tifa's, I adjusted the height of my shoes so that my proportions would match the original as closely as possible!
—When and how did you first come across the FF series, and what do you find appealing about it?
Izumi: I got curious about the FF series in middle school when I saw my father playing it. Every character in every title is so carefully crafted, and I find it appealing that there are parts that make you think, not just parts that are moving or fun!
—If you have any announcements about your activities, or cosplay looks you would like to try in the future, please tell us.
Izumi: I plan to attend Ike-Halo (Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival), Acosta Ikebukuro, and Winter Comiket! Once I get better at making costumes, I would like to cosplay as Lightning from Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII!
