Goddess of Victory: NIKKE Mast: Romantic Maid Cosplay Perfected Through Facial Muscle Training

TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026 was held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture from September 17 to 21, 2026 (September 21 was online-only). We share photos of Roiko Krode, who attended in a Mast: Romantic Maid cosplay from Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, and talk to her about what she focused on in the costume and her upcoming plans.

——What made you want to cosplay Mast: Romantic Maid from Goddess of Victory: NIKKE this time?

Roiko Krode (hereafter Krode): An event was just about to start, so I chose Mast: Romantic Maid, a costume I'd wanted to do for a while! Half a heart is embroidered on the apron, and the heart is completed when you put your right hand on your hip. It's a wonderful design.

I couldn't bring Morgan this time, but Morgan, who goes with her, is also dressed in a butler outfit and looks adorable, so please look it up!

——What did you want to express with this cosplay?

Krode: By training my facial muscles every day, I was able to capture Mast's boyish, toothy grin. I usually play cool characters, so I also made my poses different from usual, cute and full of movement.

——How did you get into NIKKE, and what do you find appealing about it?

Krode: I started playing NIKKE after seeing my younger brother play it. A cosplayer I like had posted cosplay of it, so I was curious, but I had never played a smartphone app before, and it felt like too high a hurdle to try.

My brother and my followers on X taught me all sorts of things, and now I talk about the story with my brother and we even went to a NIKKE exhibition together, so this series has brought us closer as siblings. Sharing theories and impressions with my followers has also deepened our bonds, which is another part of the series' appeal.
