In 2026, the 15th anniversary of the TV anime Guilty Crown and the 10th anniversary of the TV anime Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, the Guilty Crown x Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress Exhibition has been running since October 30 at Ginza Mirai Museum in Tokyo.
Both original works by director Tetsuro Araki aired on Fuji TV's noitaminA block. The joint exhibition looks back on the worlds and stories of the two series as they reach these milestones, and also lets visitors view production materials such as key animation alongside comments from the staff.
A press preview and guest press conference were held ahead of the opening, with Yuki Kaji, who voices Guilty Crown protagonist Shu Ouma, and Tasuku Hatanaka, who voices Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress protagonist Ikoma, taking the stage. They talked about their memories of each series and about what is on display at the exhibition.

The two toured the exhibition of works that have now passed 15 and 10 years, together with Director Araki. Asked about the exhibits, Kaji summed it up: "There are spots recreated from the series and even a zone where you can experience whose Void you hold. You can also see behind-the-scenes stories from the director and other staff members as reference materials, and including the theme café menu, I thought it was an exhibition where you can experience the works through all five senses."
Speaking about playing Shu Ouma, a role that is special even for Kaji, who has appeared in many series, he looked back: "I took the audition determined to change my life right there, and I put my heart into Shu, but I had been pursuing a style of acting that doesn't fit a mold. Seeing the exhibition brought back the hunger and the spirit of taking on a challenge that I had back then. The connections I made through this series continue to this day, and it was a turning point for me."
