[Photos/Images] "Filled In Through a Flashback!" Fans Delighted by Vegeta's Family Trip in Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Episode 4 1st

Episode 4 of the anime Dragon Ball Super: Beerus aired on November 1 (broadcasting in sequence). Vegeta's (voiced by Ryo Horikawa) family trip scene, which was thought to have been cut from Beerus, was unexpectedly filled in, delighting fans who commented, "Bringing in a flashback here is the best!" and "So glad they showed it!"

This series is an enhanced version based on the anime Dragon Ball Super, featuring a large number of newly added cuts, redrawn scenes, and a restructured story. Vegeta's family trip was depicted in Episode 2 of Dragon Ball Super, but unfortunately it was cut from this series. In Episode 4, "The Saiyan God," however, the family trip is worked in in an unexpected way.

In Episode 4, to stop Beerus (voiced by Koichi Yamadera) from destroying Earth, Son Goku (voiced by Masako Nozawa) suggests asking Shenron (voiced by Ryuzaburo Otomo) about the existence of the "Super Saiyan God" that Beerus is searching for. The summoned Shenron says, "If five Saiyans with righteous hearts join hands and pour their hearts into one more righteous Saiyan, he will become the Saiyan God."

Piccolo (voiced by Toshio Furukawa) then says, "That's impossible. There are only four Saiyans with righteous hearts here, counting the half-Earthling ones," leaving Vegeta out of the "Saiyans with righteous hearts." Chichi (voiced by Naoko Watanabe) objects, "Don't be prejudiced, Piccolo! He's a good father who takes his family on trips!" and the footage cuts in one after another to shots of Vegeta on his family trip.

With a scene thought to be absent from this series worked in so unexpectedly, comments poured in online, such as "Bringing in a flashback of the family trip here is the best!", "It's filled in through a flashback!", "I'm so happy they properly showed the family trip scene!" and "They didn't cut it entirely, and I'm glad they brought it in as a flashback."
