——Is there any episode you could share about the costume creation this time?

Kawasaki:With my experience in designing and sewing martial arts costumes, I took on the task of creating these outfits. The star cutout on the chest was quite challenging as I wanted it to look neat while also concealing any unnecessary parts. The costume for Kamen America has gone through revisions and updates; it's now on its third version! As for the mask, I wear an official merchandise piece given to me by the author.

I was responsible for creating the costumes for four out of the five main characters in the series. I completed the costumes in the order of their appearance and uploaded them one by one on social media. Finally, all five characters gathered at Comiket! This process generated a lot of excitement among those involved with the work. Following this, I received an offer from the official team, and I've been selected as a model for the 'Official Kamen America Calendar 2025'!

Interestingly, I learned from reading the work that Kamen America's day job is a fashion designer. I, too, design martial arts costumes. Additionally, there's a setting where she's depicted riding a bike called "Midnight Ride," and I also ride a flashy customized large motorcycle. Even though the genres differ, there are commonalities! Initially, it was a process of elimination, but I ended up being a perfect fit!

On a personal note, I'm a kickboxing exercise and Pilates instructor, and as a trainee, I strengthen myself through kickboxing and strength training, so I can nail kick poses and the like! Kamen America is also a fighting woman, so I think these skills come in handy!
