The viewers were left in awe by the battle scene where Fern showcased overwhelming strength, saying things like "It was too cool, gave me goosebumps, it was the best," "Fern's aura of strength is insane," and "It's amazing how she overpowers everything with speed, technique, and experience."

The anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," which is currently being simultaneously streamed, is based on the same-titled manga serialized in "Weekly Shōnen Sunday" by original author Kanehito Yamada and artist Tsukasa Abe. Set in a world "after" the demon king has been slain, it's the story of Frieren, a magic user who has lived for over 1000 years, embarking on a "journey to understand people." The original comic, which has received numerous awards and immense support and acclaim, has reached 14 published volumes, with a total circulation exceeding 24 million copies. The eagerly awaited second season of the TV anime is slated for broadcast starting January 2026.
