On ABEMA, “Say You To Yo Asobi: Friday [Tomokazu Seki × Reiji Kawashima] #5” aired on Friday, May 23, 2025, starting at 10 PM.

During this broadcast, a segment titled "If You Love Him, You Should Know! Reiji Kawashima’s Fan Fan Common Sense Quiz!" was held. It aimed to help Kawashima restore his honor after being labeled “silly” in the previous night’s common sense quiz. Facing questions about himself and his partner Seki, Kawashima gave many unexpected answers, leading to huge laughter throughout the studio.

Reiji Kawashima Talks About What Happened After His “Almost Zero Bank Balance” Confession!?

At the opening of the show, there was a follow-up on the “bank balance situation” that Kawashima had revealed previously in "First-time Scoop! This Week’s Reiji Kawashima Topics." On the May 2nd (Friday) broadcast, Kawashima's shocking confession that "I’m about to see a zero balance in my bank account" made waves, but what was shown this time was a photo of Kawashima coming into the studio, arms loaded with brand-name shopping bags.

Kawashima admitted that his salary had come in and, despite everything, he’d gone on yet another shopping spree for clothes this month. Yelling, “This is bad!,” Seki retorted sharply with, “Yeah, this is bad! You’re nuts!” yet at the same time commented, “But honestly, I like how you don’t think about the future.” Seki went on to reminisce, “You’re still young. I was just like this back in the day. Didn’t have a single cent. Even had my water shut off once!” Then, speaking kindly, he added, “Well, it’s fine. After all, this is money you worked so hard to earn yourself.” Smiling, Kawashima responded, “I’ll really do my best!”

However, after this, the staff announced that “Kawashima’s manager is genuinely worried.” It turned out that Kawashima’s manager actually called the show to express concern about Kawashima’s spending habits, leaving Kawashima flustered. Meanwhile, Seki burst out laughing, “That’s how bad it’s gotten!” This led to an impromptu planning meeting for ways to curb Kawashima’s excess spending, and the conversation got increasingly lively.
