Forgetting His Own Motto!? Tomokazu Seki Tells Reiji Kawashima, “Were You Possessed by Aliens Today?” in Response to Kawashima’s Airheaded Answers

Also in the show, the “If You Love Him, You Should Know! Reiji Kawashima’s Fan Fan Common Sense Quiz!” segment was conducted. In an earlier broadcast, Kawashima’s silly side was exposed during the common sense quiz, but this time the quiz featured topics that Kawashima loves or specialties he’s good at, in an attempt to bring out his “clever” self.

First up was the “Tomokazu Seki Common Sense Quiz.” As Seki’s partner this season, Kawashima revealed that he’d studied hard by watching past episodes of Say You To Yo Asobi and DVDs of the theater company led by Seki, "Gekidan HeroHero Q Company,” which impressed Seki. Fired up to not miss a single question, Kawashima started strong, but tripped up on questions such as “What is Tomokazu Seki’s birthdate and hometown?” and “What was Seki doing in this photo from Say You To Yo Asobi?”—some straightforward and some more obscure—and ended up racking up many wrong answers.

Finally, the last question, “How much cash is Tomokazu Seki carrying in his wallet right now?” also ended in defeat, as Seki answered in a way that surprised everyone: “Because I use cashless payments, I have zero yen.” As a result, Kawashima got every question wrong, and was handed a sticker that read, “I don’t know anything about Tomokazu Seki.” Kawashima looked awkwardly at Seki, who replied with a disappointed “I’m shocked~.”

Next was the quiz that should have been a breeze: the “Reiji Kawashima Common Sense Quiz.” The first question asked, “What is Reiji Kawashima’s motto?” Kawashima answered confidently, “I know this one!” but surprisingly got it wrong. Having forgotten his own motto, Seki hit him with a fierce comeback, “That’s not it! Huh, what’s going on? Were you possessed by aliens today?” once again bringing the studio to huge laughter.

The segment continued with questions like “What caption did Reiji Kawashima write when he posted this photo?” and “What is Reiji Kawashima’s weight?” But as Kawashima’s unique answers kept coming, he was unable to get more than half the questions right, and the quiz ended. This time, he was given a sticker saying, “I’m Reiji Kawashima’s lookalike,” and he lamented, “It’s scary that I really can’t remember my own motto!” Viewers also got excited about Kawashima’s natural airheadedness, commenting, “Is this a paranormal event…?” “Now I’m getting scared, LOL,” “Is this a fake…?” and “He really was just a lookalike, LOL.”

In addition, at the end of the show, it was announced that Takuya Sato, from the TV anime “The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold To Another Kingdom,” will be appearing as a guest on the next broadcast, airing on Friday, May 30.
