—"Puella Magi Madoka Magica" first aired in 2011 and has a long history. Could you tell us when you first discovered the series and what parts of it appeal to you?
Raruchiki: The first time I watched it was when I was in middle school! I loved the characters and world of "Mado Magi" even then, but at the time, the timelines and each character’s emotions were hard to interpret, so I probably didn’t fully understand it.
After rewatching it as an adult, I’ve come to love both the series and Homura even more. Of course, Homura’s many mixed feelings toward Madoka are fascinating, but I especially like how each character has their own darkness, which makes them feel truly human.
—Is there any cosplay you’d like to try in the future?
Raruchiki: It’s my dream to do a one-person "Mado Magi" cosplay!! (laughs) Other than that, I want to cosplay strong, cute girls from games like "Shadowverse" or "Granblue Fantasy"! Since the costumes need to be crafted from scratch and aren’t commercially available, I haven’t been able to try them yet... (cries). There are still plenty of points I want to improve on Devil Homura too, so I think I’ll keep redoing it as many times as it takes!

Raruchiki passionately expressed her enthusiasm for improving her costume, echoing lines from Homura herself. As she’s interested in "Shadowverse," which recently released "Worlds Beyond," we look forward to seeing which character she’ll bring to life in future cosplay.
