The usual cool and collected Maomao (voiced by Aoi Yūki) creates an adorable contrast when she occasionally gets extremely excited! Typically, Maomao responds to almost everything in a dry, detached manner, but she shows a strong obsession with poisons and medicines. However, there seems to be one other thing she truly loves. In Episode 11, Senior Consort Ah-Duo (voiced by Yūko Kaida) offers Maomao a drink, saying, "Won't you join me for a cup?" and Maomao's eyes light up as she exclaims, "Ooh~! Sake!" Her chibi, cat-eared, and tailed appearance as she jumps for joy is a stark contrast to her usual composure.
