After a digest of highlights from Season 1, the cast reflected on the first season, sharing some behind-the-scenes stories about auditions and recording sessions. In the latter part of the show, the segment titled “What Kind of Familiar Would Be Yours? Let’s Casually Imagine Our Own Familiar” had the four cast members introduce familiars they’d want by their side in real life, like Grim. Alongside their illustrations, they presented unique and creative familiars, prompting lots of laughs.
Makoto Koichi shared, “After watching 7th Prince, I just wanted a Shiro so badly!” and introduced a familiar with the appearance of Shiro, the wolf-type magical beast from the show, who would provide comfort with its fluffy, pure white fur and even run tedious shopping errands. Tom Brown’s Michio jokingly commented, “So, it’s like an Uber Eats dog!” which had the whole studio laughing.
Lynn suggested “Suzukuma-kun,” a familiar that emits cool air to battle the heat, while Manaka Iwami—admitting to her weakness in cooking—imagined a practical “cat-shaped familiar that cooks for you.” One after another, practical familiars kept coming. Then, Fairouz Ai showed off “Kakutei Shinkoku-kun,” a familiar who helps with tax returns. “Being a voice actor means we’re self-employed, and tax filing is such a pain! This familiar would sort out all the receipts for me!” Her realistic wish had the studio erupting in laughter again.
Later on, the cast played games like “Fusion! Magic Spell Bundle Word Quiz,” where they had to guess hidden words in given phrases, and watched a preview of the non-credit opening for Season 2. The four enjoyed a lively, chatty atmosphere throughout. At the end of the program, they each sent messages to viewers:
Manaka Iwami: “Since I’m a new character starting from Season 2, there wasn’t a lot I could share, but I think today’s preview footage got everyone even more excited. Please look forward to the broadcast!”
Lynn: “Every episode in Season 1 was so moving that I’d get goosebumps, but in Season 2, all the animation and direction is even more powerful! I think you’ll enjoy everything, from the story developments to the beautiful visuals, so I hope you’ll tune in from the very first episode.”
Fairouz Ai: “Each episode is packed with detailed gimmicks and lovely touches showing the staff’s love for the original work, and I really enjoyed recording every single time. Season 2 will introduce my favorite character, Jiliel, so please check out what kind of person he is with your own eyes.”
Makoto Koichi: “As both the cast and the visuals have grown in number, I feel the show has gotten even more powerful. Not just the scripted lines, but even the ad-libs have become more entertaining, so I hope you’ll listen for even the off-mic chatter. Above all, don’t miss Episode 1 (Episode 13)—please watch it!” And with that, the fun-packed program came to a close.
