The Cool “Demon Instructor” Voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya Makes His Full Debut! Fans Love His Quirky Side: “What a Fun Character” — Tougen Anki Episode 2

Episode 2 of the anime “Tougen Anki” began airing sequentially from July 18. Naito Mudano (voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya), a rationalist with some eccentric tendencies, made his full appearance and drew attention with reactions like “He’s such an interesting guy” and “What a great character, haha.”

At the end of Episode 1, it was the mysterious Mudano who suddenly knocked out Shiki Ichinose (voiced by Kazuki Ura) after his ogre powers awakened. Mudano appeared to be cool and collected at first glance, but in Episode 2, titled “If You Want to Achieve, Keep Winning,” he surprised Shiki—who had just woken up—by talking to him while doing upside-down push-ups on top of an umbrella stuck in the ground.

Mudano, who serves as an instructor at the ogre training institution Rashomon Academy, revealed that he is also an ogre himself and explained, “The reason I brought you here is for assessment and selection.” Mudano, who has an extreme dislike for wastefulness, then skated in swiftly on roller skates while carrying a whiteboard and remarked, “Roller skates are fast and efficient.”

Fans quickly latched onto Mudano’s strongly distinctive character, and online comments were filled with excitement, such as “Instructor Mudano is such an interesting guy” and “What a great character, haha.” With the popular voice actor Hiroshi Kamiya providing Mudano’s voice, there was also much praise: “As expected, Hiroshi Kamiya’s voice is the best,” and “His way of speaking is insanely cool,” among many others.
