■Yasumoto Moans During Acupuncture and Foot Reflexology! A Scream-Filled Climax: “It hurts!”

Triggered by Yasumoto’s comment during the previous live broadcast, “It’s not just my body, even my heart is stiff,” the “Salvation for the Stiff Heart!” project first healed the mind with coloring activities, followed by Kobayashi gently reading heart-relaxing supportive messages from viewers into a special dummy head microphone.

Messages included “Yasumoto-san, would you like garlic?” and “Your dimples are adorable.” When asked, “Yasumoto-san, do you like cat paw pads?” Yasumoto replied, “Recently, I’ve been turning into a cat. In the work called ‘Nyaight of the Living Cat,’ I actually become a cat.” Kobayashi quipped, “That’s just a normal conversation!” causing the studio to fill with warm laughter.

In the second half’s hands-on segment, “Salvation by Acupuncture!”, acupuncturist Dr. Liu Yong made an appearance. Kobayashi explained, “As voice actors, we spend long hours in the same posture during recordings,” to which Dr. Liu agreed, saying, “Voice actors accumulate a lot of stiffness from voice usage as well.” Upon examining Yasumoto’s body, Dr. Liu immediately remarked, “This is quite impressive,” confirming the severity of Yasumoto’s stiffness. Yasumoto also cried out, “Ouch, that hurts!” He added, laughing, “I have a high pain tolerance, but this really hurts! When you’re good with pain, you just endure it.” After the treatment, Yasumoto said, “That felt so good. I used to be afraid of acupuncture, but it wasn’t scary at all!”

At the ending, Kobayashi told Yasumoto, “Apparently it’s not over yet. There’s one more ‘relief from stiffness’ activity left.” Reflexologist Dr. Suzuki appeared in the studio, prompting Yasumoto to exclaim, “Wahhh! It’s been a long time!” He eagerly removed his socks for the treatment, and as pressure was applied to the reflex points, he screamed and nearly fell from his chair several times. When Yasumoto invited Kobayashi to try the massage, Kobayashi replied, “I’m not stiff at all. This is a project for Yasumoto-san, after all.”

Finally, when asked for his thoughts about the day, Yasumoto stated, “It hurts!” to which Kobayashi summarized, “He says it was a wonderful day.” As Yasumoto’s screams echoed, the “relief from stiffness” project drew to a close.
