A Date Like Switching Social Statuses! Watching Maomao and Jinshi Stroll Through Town in “The Apothecary Diaries” Will Make You Grin

In Episode 17 of the anime “The Apothecary Diaries,” Jinshi (CV: Takeo Ōtsuka), the eunuch who manages the inner palace, and Maomao (CV: Aoi Yūki), a maidservant, disguise themselves as “lady and her attendant” and stroll through the streets. Viewers were captivated by the two's date, with many finding themselves enchanted by the “charming atmosphere that makes you want to keep watching.”

For a certain reason, Jinshi needs to hide his noble status and venture into town dressed as a commoner. Maomao ends up accompanying him, transforming from her usual plain attire to a glamorous outfit befitting a wealthy young lady.
