[Photos/Images] “He’s Too Nice” “He’s Even Kind at a Time Like This”—A Storm of Praise for Voice Actor Satoshi Hino’s Character Who Delivers a ‘Saint-Level Remark’ Even on the Brink of Death Anime “Gachiakuta” Episode 7 1st

The seventh episode of the anime “Gachiakuta” began airing sequentially from August 24. Despite being in a battered state himself, the character Gris (voiced by Satoshi Hino), who cares for the protagonist, delivered lines that deeply moved viewers, who commented, “He’s like a saint” and “He’s truly a strong person.”

Gris is a supporter among the Janitors. He is a gentle and dependable big brother figure who always looks after his teammates. In the midst of a battle, Gris risked himself to protect the protagonist, Rudo (voiced by Aoi Ichikawa), and suffered a serious wound at the hands of Jabber (voiced by Yūki Shin) of the Raiders. Fueled by anger, Rudo used a cherished good-luck charm belonging to Gris and his own ability to confront Jabber.

In Episode 7, “Resolution,” after the battle, Rudo apologized to the bedridden Gris for breaking his good-luck charm. Although Gris, his voice hoarse, said, “That was something important to me,” he smiled and added, “But if it was able to help you, I’m truly glad.”

Gris is played by voice actor Satoshi Hino, who has portrayed many passionate characters in the past. Thanks in part to Hino’s vocal performance, Gris’s kindness captivated audiences online, sparking comments such as “Gris is just too good of a person!” “He’s like a saint,” and “Gris being this nice even at a time like this shows how truly strong he is.”
