“Gachiakuta” is based on the popular manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha), with story by Kei Urana and graffiti designs by Hideyoshi Andou. The battle action series begins with an orphaned boy, Rudo, born in the slums where descendants of criminals live, who is cast into the “Abyss” for a crime he didn’t commit.

Episode 7 “Resolution” Synopsis:
By drawing out the power of Gris’s good-luck charm, Rudo is able to sense hostility and evade all of Jabber’s attacks. However, Jabber counters by injecting himself with poison, losing consciousness, and fighting back with automatic attacks, relentlessly cornering Rudo. Just as Jabber’s poisoned claws draw near, Rudo is saved by Zanka. Rudo teams up with the rejoined Zanka to confront Jabber.
