For example, emulating Wednesday’s “Which is Taku’s? 8-Choice Quiz!,” Namikawa took on the “Showtaro Quiz,” in which he had to guess Morikubo’s answers. “Piece of cake with Morikubo-san!” said a confident Namikawa, and he successfully answered “Living Life Ahead of Schedule” in the question “What’s Showtaro’s motto?” Next, he accurately deduced the answer for “Which socks did Showtaro wear today?” by reasoning, “It’d be Morikubo, ever the crowd-pleaser,” giving him back-to-back correct answers. Morikubo exclaimed, “Amazing! There’s no pre-arrangement here!” and happily remarked, “So glad, partner! All these years together paid off!”

On the other hand, Namikawa failed to answer correctly seven times in a row on the question “Which animal did Showtaro make out of paper clay?” prompting Morikubo to say, “I’m so disappointed.
