Kobayashi expressed confidence in the production, saying, “The staff, who all deeply love Frieren, are continuing to create something truly wonderful, so please look forward to the broadcast starting January 16.” Ichinose added, “There are so many scenes from the manga that I always wanted to see animated, and they’re all packed into Season 2. In particular, there’s ‘that scene’ between Stark and Fern, and I’ve been looking forward to it personally for a long time. I can’t wait for it to be aired.”
