The third episode of the anime "GINTAMA - Mr. Ginpachi's Zany Class," a spin-off based on the highly popular manga "Gintama," has been airing sequentially since October 20th. In the main series, Shinsuke Takasugi (CV: Takehito Koyasu), who had a strong serious image, delivered a deadpan joke in a rare development, drawing laughter from viewers who commented, "Takasugi is saying things he would never say, it's hilarious lol."

In episode 3, titled "When a Guy Who Usually Doesn't Talk Suddenly Makes a Joke, It's Hard to React, but Since You Can't Ignore It, You Have No Choice but to Laugh," Gintama High School's number one delinquent, Takasugi, returned to school. In the episode, a mysterious talk show by the broadcasting club suddenly begins. According to the show, the reason for Takasugi's suspension was apparently that "it would be difficult to handle Mr. Takasugi, who never joked in the old 'Gintama' anime, in the gag-focused anime 'Ginpachi-sensei'."

When asked about his current state of mind, Takasugi calmly stated, "I'm happy that my suspension is over." Finally, when unreasonably asked for a riddle, Takasugi, with a straight face, replied, "I'll compare it to an anime, and solve it by 'asking for gift wrapping at the register'." He continued, "You can't wait for the broadcast (wrapping). This is Sugitchi." The mediocre quality of "Sugitchi's" riddle enveloped the surroundings in an indescribable atmosphere.
