Anime Gintama: "Ultimate & Supreme" Gourmets Review Insane Sushi!

The anime Gintama, known for presenting countless parodies, featured a scene in Episode 120 where characters visually reminiscent of a monumental gourmet manga ate and commented on "Tondemo sushi" homemade by the clockwork doll, Tama (CV: Omi Minami).

In Gintama Episode 120, the completely useless old man—or Madao for short—Taizō Hasegawa (CV: Fumihiko Tachiki) is somehow put in charge of a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant. The problem is, Madao can only manage to roll cucumber sushi.

Amidst the crisis, Tama steps forward and declares, "Please leave it to me." After preparing the ingredients, Tama proceeded to eat and swallow everything. She then gagged over a plate, vomiting up an oily, shrimp-filled piece of sushi. Tama offered the sushi, saying, "It's done," while Madao retorted, "How are we supposed to eat that?! How incredibly grotesque is your preparation method?!" Tama simply explained, "I merely prepared the sushi inside my body."

At the worst possible moment, a customer picked up Tama's sushi. The two customers, whose eyes were hidden by black censor bars, looked remarkably like the gourmet father and son from that certain famous food manga. After tasting Tama's special sushi, they raved: "What is this new texture! I've never tasted anything like it!" and "It's rich and mellow, yet completely non-cloying!"

Following the commotion, the conveyor belt began to fill with one Insane item after another, including "Dark Matter" and "Third Generation Squidzo" (Sandai-me Ika-zō)...! This Gintama sushi episode was jam-packed with absurd content that blew everyone's minds in multiple ways.
