This scene, where Stark is dragged into Frieren's nonsensical demands, quickly caught the attention of viewers, who commented: "Only Stark gets treated unfairly," "'Just jump off' (Merciless)," and "Stark gets such rough treatment!"

The anime Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is based on the manga of the same name, written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, which is serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday. Set in the world after the Demon King has been defeated, the story follows Frieren, a mage who has lived for over a thousand years, on a "journey to understand humans." The original manga has received high praise, winning numerous awards, and its cumulative circulation has surpassed 32 million copies.

It has been decided that Season 2 of the TV anime will begin airing in January 2026. To commemorate the broadcast of Season 2, two official fan books, "The Magic That Helps You Understand Frieren & Himmel" and "The Magic That Helps You Understand Fern & Stark," will be released simultaneously by Shogakukan on December 18th.
