While Takasugi had a strong image of being serious in the main "GINTAMA" series, he also showcases rare comedic moments in "GINTAMA - Mr. Ginpachi's Zany Class." This time too, Takasugi's "character change" attracted attention online with comments like "Hidden command haircut lol," "He's totally just messing around (lol)," and "Takasugi jokes around this much (lol)."
The anime "GINTAMA - Mr. Ginpachi's Zany Class" is based on the spin-off novel "GINTAMA 3-nen Z-gumi Ginpachi-sensei" of the hugely popular manga "GINTAMA" by Hideaki Sorachi. The original manga, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) and other publications from 2003 to 2019, recorded a worldwide cumulative circulation (including digital editions) of 73 million copies, and its TV anime, theatrical anime films, and live-action films were all well-received. "GINTAMA - Mr. Ginpachi's Zany Class" is a school comedy set in Class 3-Z of Gintama High School, featuring familiar characters led by homeroom teacher Ginpachi Sakata (CV: Tomokazu Sugita).

【Synopsis】
Among the delinquents in town, there had been a series of "bontan hunting" incidents, commonly known as "Bonhan."
Takasugi's faction was suspected of involvement, but investigation results revealed that the likelihood of them being connected to the incidents was low.
However, if conflicts between delinquents spread as a result of Bonhan, ordinary students might also get caught up in it.
Therefore, Hijikata and others decide to continue monitoring Takasugi's faction. For some reason, the one who ends up taking on this role is Shinpachi!?
Shinpachi, now a spy, attempts to ingratiate himself with Takasugi.
