"Is That Your Only Concern?" Maomao's First Reaction to Discovering Jinshi's True Identity in "The Apothecary Diaries" Sparks a Flurry of Snarky Comments.

Maomao (CV: Aoi Yuki) finally learned Jinshi's (CV: Takeo Ōtsuka) true status, but... In episode 46 of the anime The Apothecary Diaries, Maomao's entirely unexpected words to Jinshi compelled viewers to interject with commentary.

Up until now, Jinshi had concealed his identity, pretending to be a 25-year-old eunuch managing the rear palace; however, his true identity is that of the Imperial Brother, Hua Ruiyue. In Episode 46, Jinshi moved the Imperial Guards as Hua Ruiyue to defeat the highly influential chancellor Shi Sho (CV: Chō), who was suspected of treason. Leading the army, Jinshi reached the fortress and discovered the missing Maomao. At that moment, when his subordinate addressed him as "Crown Prince," Jinshi replied, "I am not the Crown Prince now."

Maomao, finally knowing Jinshi's true identity completely, reasoned that since the Imperial Brother was 19, he must have been lying about his age, as it didn't match Jinshi's purported 25 years. She then stated, "Lord Jinshi, you look old."
