ABEMA has released its "2025 Annual Anime Rankings," based on viewership data for anime titles broadcast and streamed throughout 2025.

These rankings are based on ABEMA’s proprietary analysis of viewership data for anime titles broadcast or streamed between January 1 and December 31, 2025. The top five titles in the "Viewership Rankings" (calculated by total annual views and average views per episode) and the "Comment Rankings" (calculated by average comments per episode) are as follows:

In the "Total View Count Category," which tracks cumulative views throughout the year, the national family favorite ATASHIn'CHI claimed the #1 spot. The ranking also featured titles such as Crayon Shin-chan: The Movie and Oishinbo, highlighting the enduring popularity of long-running classics supported by fans of all ages.

On the other hand, in the "Average Views Per Episode Category," the TV anime The Apothecary Diaries demonstrated its overwhelming popularity by sweeping the top two spots—ranking first with its second season and second with its first season. Other titles in the top ranks include new isekai fantasy series such as Bogus Skill <<fruitmaster>>, reflecting high viewer engagement for each individual episode.
