In the "Annual Comment Rankings," based on the average number of comments per episode, Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack secured the top spot. As a masterpiece that continues to be passed down through generations, it sparked intense real-time discussions among viewers.

While movie adaptations dominated the top spots—including Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie Part 1: Beginnings—the TV anime Oishinbo ranked third, fueled by online buzz surrounding its relatable and often humorous daily scenarios.

■Male viewership increased by approximately 5%, with viewers in their 20s and 30s remaining the primary audience.

Alongside the rankings, audience trends were also revealed. The male audience share increased by approximately 5% from the previous year, reaching 68%. By age group, viewers in their 20s and 30s each accounted for 25% of the total, together forming the core demographic.
