The TV anime adaptation of "Witch Hat Atelier" (original work by Kamome Shirahama), which has surpassed 7.5 million copies in cumulative worldwide circulation, has been confirmed to begin broadcasting on Monday, April 6 at 23:00 on TOKYO MX and other stations. Animation production will be handled by BUG FILMS, which has worked on "Zom 100" and "Summer Time Rendering."
In conjunction with the announcement of the broadcast date and time, the key visual and main PV have been released. The key visual depicts the protagonist Coco at the center, surrounded by her companions at Qifrey's atelier. In the main PV, viewers can catch glimpses of new companions Agott, Tetia, and Richeh training alongside Coco in dynamic action, as well as darker developments hinting at the existence of forbidden magic.
Within the PV, the voices of the newly added luxurious cast members were revealed for the first time. Hibiku Yamamura plays Agott, Kurumi Haruki plays Tetia, and Hika Tsukishiro plays Richeh. Furthermore, Yūichi Nakamura serves as Olruggio, the "Watchful Eye" of the atelier, Misaki Kuno as Brushbuddy, and Mitsuki Saiga as Iguin, the "Brimmed Cap" witch.
Additionally, information about the theme songs that will color this work has been revealed. The opening theme will be "Kaze no Anthem feat. suis from Yorushika" by Eve, and the ending theme will be "Tada Utsukushii Noroi" by Nakamura Hak, with portions of the audio sources revealed within the PV.
Prior to the broadcast, an advance screening event for episodes 1 through 3 will be held at Shinjuku Piccadilly on Sunday, March 15. After the screening, a talk event is scheduled featuring main cast members including Rena Motomura and Natsuki Hanae.
