——It sounds interesting to watch while projecting your relationship onto them! Mio and Yori serve Yura, the priestess of the Kaien Nation. What makes her attractive?

Zoom in

Kosaka: Lady Yura has a firm sense of her own will, and as she's depicted as a central character in the story, I thought her posture and bearing are really cool.

Fujishima: While she has a dignified attitude as someone who stands above others, I think Lady Yura's appeal is her character that's truly loved by the people around her, and there are many scenes where her emotions become visible as her relationship with Gobta is depicted. I think it's nice that she also has a maiden-like side in those moments.

——This is the first work in the "TenSura" series set at the ocean, and it's also rich in battle action, isn't it?

Kosaka: It's a grand work with battle action set at the ocean, and various characters appear, including original characters starting with Lady Yura, as well as Lord Rimuru. I think it's packed full of enjoyment unique to theatrical releases.

Fujishima: There are tons of battle scenes, so I want people to see it in its full spectacular glory on the big screen in theaters! With Gobta's uniqueness as well, there are many heart-stirring scenes with both laughter and tears, so please look forward to it!

——We heard that when participating in this work as voice actors, Kosaka-san, who is a huge anime fan, introduced recommended "TenSura" episodes to Fujishima-san. Are there any episodes you'd recommend for fans to watch before seeing this film?

Kosaka: As for parts that really connect to this "Tears of the Azure Sea," I think you should watch at least Seasons 1 and 2. By watching through Season 2, you can learn about the relationships between the characters who appear, and within "TenSura"—which I also love—you'll understand what kind of person Lord Rimuru is.

——Even people who haven't seen "TenSura" yet have a vague image of Rimuru as someone who was reincarnated and became a slime, right?

Kosaka: Starting from becoming a slime, through to the Walpurgis (Banquet of the Demon Lords) at the end of Season 2, Lord Rimuru's feelings and his becoming a Demon Lord for the sake of his companions are depicted, so I definitely want people to watch from Season 1 through Season 2 first.

——They also depict how the nation of Tempest came to be established. If you find it interesting, go right ahead to Season 3 (lol).

Kosaka: Exactly!
