Then, representing the cast, Ogata earnestly commented, "Doing the stage together with everyone this time, I realized anew that these people are truly comrades-in-arms. That's not just the actors, but the creators and staff as well. 30 years ago, everyone had sharp edges, and it was also a time when we had to have those edges. Those aspects were also reflected in various characters." Continuing, Ogata emphasized, "Everyone has aged as adults, but we also have parts that haven't changed. Even now, everyone approaches various works with a sense of liveness. I think that's an amazing thing. Even after 30 years, looking forward, trying to go even further while maintaining our respective roles. I think such a work was created because such people gathered, and of course, Anno-san is at the forefront of that," and great applause came from the venue.
Furthermore, Ogata called out to the venue, "Through the work called Evangelion, in some form from now on, I hope we can meet all of you again like this, and at that time we can laugh and talk again, saying 'Hey, are you doing well? I'm glad you're living properly,' and look back on this work. I hope such opportunities come around. Let's do our best to keep living!"
And finally, Director Anno concluded. Director Anno reflectively commented, "The TV series animation that started about 34 years ago has become rakugo and kabuki after 30 years, becoming things I never imagined at the time, and I myself am deeply moved. I realize that it has truly become a happy work, and it was a happy work from the beginning." After expressing his gratitude anew to the staff, cast, and fans, he commented while savoring each word, "This time, I've teased Tsurumaki many times, but I'm actually very grateful. He's been with me in creating works since Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water. I'm truly grateful that he devoted his talent to the work called Evangelion." And when he addressed the audience, "I now have nothing but gratitude for the staff and cast, and nothing but gratitude for the fans as well. But the last person I want to thank is my wife, who has supported me for over 20 years. Thank you very much," thunderous applause echoed throughout the venue.
From the opening of the first day to the finale of the final day, the venue was constantly enveloped in the passion and joy of fans. This event, where cast, production staff, and fans came together to celebrate the 30th anniversary milestone, closed with great success amid euphoria overflowing with happiness.
