The 80th episode of "SHIBUYA ANIME BASE (#ShibuAni)" was broadcast live on ABEMA on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

This episode featured voice actress and idol Himika Akaneya from the group "i☆Ris" as a guest, where she candidly discussed her deep history as an otaku and shared behind-the-scenes anime stories.

The first half of the program featured a major special on the anime "Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- 4th Season," which is set to premiere this April. The discussion turned to Tomokazu Sugita, who joins the cast in Season 4 as the "strongest swordsman," Reid. In a video clip from the recent Japan Premiere, cast members including Yusuke Kobayashi, Satomi Arai, and Nobuhiko Okamoto took the stage and exposed Sugita’s behavior during recording sessions.
