The "Passion" Enoki Poured into "I’m a Cog"
Next, Junya Enoki (Yuji Itadori), Yūma Uchida (Megumi Fushiguro), and Kazuya Nakai (Kinji Hakari) discussed the events of Episode 52 ("Fever") and Episode 53 ("Cogs").
On the theme of "moments they felt 'Fever' (passion) recently," Nakai immediately cracked a joke: "Ever since I started playing Hakari, I get asked about 'Fever' all the time. But you can tell by now, right? This guy has no passion!" This prompted quick retorts from Uchida and Enoki, filling the studio with a warm, relaxed atmosphere.
Enoki commented on the high quality of the animation and fight scenes, saying, "Every single scene was just so good." Uchida echoed this, praising the overall completion of the series: "Jujutsu Kaisen has maintained a high level of heat throughout."
Nakai then shared his joy in joining the cast: "The moment I heard I was cast in Jujutsu Kaisen was my peak 'Fever' moment," which drew cheers from the studio. When Enoki added, "Just seeing the words 'Jujutsu Kaisen' makes my body feel hot," Uchida and Nakai immediately teased him: "Every time you see the text?" "There's no way!"
When the fan-favorite scene of Itadori telling Hakari, "I’m a cog," was highlighted, Nakai praised Enoki’s acting. "To put that much passion into the words 'I'm a cog'—a line that should logically have the least amount of passion—is just incredible." Enoki, visibly bashful, replied, "I'm so happy to hear that!" He then explained his approach to the scene: "I felt a link between a car that only burns fuel as a part of a machine and Itadori’s current state of mind."
"Something Incredible is Happening": Megumi Ogata (Okkotsu) on the Next Battle
The program also covered the Itadori vs. Higuruma and Fushiguro vs. Reggie Star battles. Regarding the former, Enoki noted the "dialogue" at the end of the fight, saying, "It was a scene where you could feel both characters moving forward." A message from Tomokazu Sugita (Hiromi Higuruma) was also shared, where he discussed balancing logic and emotion in his role. For the Fushiguro vs. Reggie Star fight, Yutaka Aoyama joined the talk to discuss the strategic complexity of a battle between Shikigami users.
Finally, a video message from Megumi Ogata (Yuta Okkotsu) accompanied the world premiere of the "Sendai Colony PV." The PV revealed new cast members:Hiroki Touchi as (Ryu Ishigori),Nana Mizuki as Takako Uro,Yukihiro Nozuyama as Kurourushi (the cockroach cursed spirit released by Kenjaku).
Regarding the Sendai Colony arc, Ogata reflected, "During recording, the animation wasn't finished yet, so I was excited to see how it would look. Seeing the actual footage now, it’s incredible and my heart is racing." She also hinted at the future: "The 'G' (Kurourushi) is going to be the key to Okkotsu's fight."
Enoki and Uchida were hyped by the PV, shouting, "That was so cool!" and "The clash between powerhouses is amazing!" However, when the topic turned to "G" (the cockroach), the studio dissolved into laughter with comments like, "Is that really what a cockroach looks like!?"
This special program is currently available for free streaming on ABEMA for one year.
