Taste the Favorites of Frieren and Her Party at USJ! Menu for "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End ~Restaurant of Reminiscence~" Revealed

The special event "Universal Cool Japan 2026" is currently underway at Universal Studios Japan. Information has finally been released regarding the first-ever collaboration with the TV anime Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. This includes the new themed restaurant "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End ~Restaurant of Reminiscence~", where guests can experience the world through food, as well as the thrilling "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End x Story Ride ~Bird Monsters and the Carriage Journey~" on the park’s popular coaster, and a lineup of original merchandise.

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is an anime based on the hit manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. It tells the story of the mage Frieren, who defeated the Demon King, as she embarks on a new journey to "learn about humans" following the death of her former comrade, the Hero Himmel.

The collaboration programs, including the limited-time attraction "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Story Walk ~Journey of Memories~", will run from May 30 (Sat), 2026, to January 11 (Mon), 2027.

A Feast of Favorites: "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End ~Restaurant of Reminiscence~"

The new themed restaurant, "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End ~Restaurant of Reminiscence~," is modeled after a local eatery you might find in the world of the story. Guests become fellow travelers, immersing themselves in the atmosphere of adventure. The interior features stained-glass style windows decorated with memories of the journey so far, making you feel as if you are dining in the same space as Frieren and her companions.

The menu features plates inspired by the characters' favorite foods: a beef plate like the ones Frieren used to stockpile, the omelets Himmel loved, the hamburgers associated with memories of Stark and Eisen, and a soup topped with foam that looks just like the beer Heiter enjoyed. It’s a culinary experience that lets you fully dive into Frieren’s emotional tale of "learning about humans."

Frieren’s Beef Plate ~Red Wine Scented Demi-glace Sauce~: A dish featuring tenderly stewed meat in a rich demi-glace. Accompanied by a mimosa salad resembling a flower field and bread shaped like her staff, it’s the perfect meal to set the mood for travel.Himmel’s Omelet Plate: The Hero's favorite omelet served with a cheese sauce. This plate is packed with the kindness and bravery that Himmel represented.Eisen & Heiter’s Hamburger and Fish & Chips Plate: A combination of the hamburger given to those who work hard and fish & chips that serves as a great snack for a drink. A luxurious dish that brings the bond between the two to life.

Additionally, the lineup includes the "Fun Travel Treasure Box Kids Set" (for children up to age 6), which looks like a chest filled with the trio's memories, as well as sweets Fern would adore and desserts recreating iconic scenes from the series.

Flower-Scented Frieren’s White Soda: A beautiful pale blue drink with a faint floral scent, capturing Frieren’s cool presence as she carries her magic staff. It is available as a set with a wooden coaster featuring a gorgeous design surrounded by Blue Moon Weeds and other flowers.

Fern’s Cherry & Blueberry Parfait: Featuring soft-colored mousse and jelly, with white chocolate accents representing the trajectory of her magic. A set with a sophisticated spoon featuring a butterfly and Mirror Lotus design is also available.Stark’s Chocolate & Raspberry Cake: A chocolate cake recreating the scene where Stark’s "Flash Step" (Sentengeki) explodes. The raspberry sauce inside and the scattered passion fruit sauce create a refreshing flavor.The restaurant will open at the Lost World Restaurant starting May 30 (Sat).
