Congratulations on the anime's 2nd anniversary! In the second season, the Teitoku members will finally appear. Hitomi Hasegawa's character designs and how perfectly they fit the cast are just incredible, so please look forward to it!
There will be even more comedy and serious drama than in the first season, so I'm really excited.

Looking back over these past two years, there have been so many times when I've thought how amazing and wonderful anime is. One of the most memorable moments for me was seeing my young nephew, who's in lower elementary school, get totally obsessed with the "Oblivion Battery" anime. He even started practicing baseball and would show me his swings every time, shouting, "I'm Todo!!!"
I felt that the true beauty of animation lies in its ability to reach even small children who can't read kanji yet. I'm really looking forward to Season 2!!!

Two years went by in a flash! I'm so happy to be working on the "Oblivion Battery" TV anime again! Along with the staff and cast who have been with us since Season 1, and everyone who has joined for Season 2, we are working hard to deliver an even more powered-up "Oblivion Battery." Hello to everyone watching the special program. I'm Toshiki Masuda, the voice of Haruka Kiyomine. I'm delighted to celebrate the 2nd anniversary at this very moment while we're working hard on Season 2. We're producing every episode with a lot of passion in an atmosphere so relaxed it's hard to believe two years have passed. Season 2 will continue to have its share of non-stop comedy and gag-filled banter, along with high school baseball youth drama that's even more intense than the first season. Please look forward to seeing Kotesashi grow even stronger.

Yuki Kaji (Taro Yamada)
Recording for Season 2 has already started, and feeling the atmosphere of the "Oblivion Battery" studio for the first time in a while gave me such an incredibly nostalgic feeling, like "Yes! This is it!" If you only look at the story, it's a super-sensitive and serious drama, but it's combined with gag elements that are almost forceful (lol), and the fact that they exist together so naturally is a unique feature and the one-of-a-kind charm of this series. It's truly fun every week! I love that raw human grit—the way it takes unrewarded feelings and laughs them off, or turns regrets and setbacks into energy!c
