The official X account of the weekly manga magazine "Morning" reported a "Diabolical Fusion Collaboration" between "Chiikawa" and Nobuyuki Fukumoto in the April 30 Golden Week double issue, sparking a massive reaction. Along with a collaboration cover, the project featured special "Zawa... Zawa... Collaboration Stickers" as a bonus, garnering significant attention on social media.

In the released image, Susumu Nikaido, the protagonist of "Nikaido Jigoku Golf," graces the cover of Morning Issue 22/23, surrounded by "Chiikawa" characters. Of particular note are the bonus stickers, featuring "Chiikawa-style" versions of "Kaiji" series protagonist Kaiji Itou (voiced by Masato Hagiwara) and Kazutaka Hyoudou (voiced by Masane Tsukayama), specially drawn by Fukumoto. Furthermore, Nagano-san quoted this post on her own X account, sharing an original illustration of Chiikawa (voiced by Haruka Aoki), Hachiware (voiced by Makoto Tanaka), and Usagi (voiced by Ari Ozawa) crying with joy while saying "So grateful..." and "Overwhelming..."

Regarding this shocking collaboration, fans flooded the comments with voices of surprise, saying things like, "This diabolical fusion is just too impressive...", "What an unexpected collab...", and "A surprising collaboration... truly diabolical!" Additionally, for Nagano-san’s illustration, comments such as "I laughed at Usagi forcing himself to cry with an onion" and "Chiikawa and the gang crying with overwhelming gratitude is precious" were seen, showing fans enjoying this unique crossover.

"Chiikawa" is a popular manga series by illustrator Nagano. It tells the story of "something small and cute"—commonly known as "Chiikawa"—and their fun, yet sometimes harsh, daily lives. The first film, "Chiikawa The Movie: The Secret of the Mermaid Island," is scheduled for release on July 24. "Nikaido Jigoku Golf" is a manga by Nobuyuki Fukumoto, known for "Gambling Apocalypse: Kaiji." It comically and melancholically depicts the daily struggles of Susumu Nikaido, a 35-year-old golf trainee on the edge who hasn't been able to pass the professional test for 10 years.
