■ Kikunosuke Toya’s "Comedian Soul" in Full Bloom!? Displaying a "Steel Mentality" in "The Kikunonaire"

Next, they held a project brought in by Toya, who loves comedy, titled "I'll Definitely Make You Laugh! The Kikunonaire." In this challenge, Toya had to make three staff members laugh within 60 seconds, attempting three genres: "One-liners," "Impressions," and "Silent Comedy."

However, standing in his way was a formidable opponent known for never laughing: AD Saito. Despite Toya performing a brand-new one-liner written specifically for the show and a Doraemon impression, Saito remained expressionless throughout. Furthermore, in the final silent comedy segment, Toya performed a surreal baseball-themed bit, but AD Yoshida—who had been laughing until then—unexpectedly gave no reaction, resulting in a failure.

After the challenge ended, Toya confessed his true feelings: "I had a lot of material I wrote just for this time... It's frustrating." Nevertheless, when Seki asked, "Will you try again?" Toya immediately replied, "Yes!" which fired up the studio.

Seki even praised him, saying, "It's amazing. There are no other voice actors who have their own comedy material!" Despite this, Toya seriously analyzed the cause of his defeat, wondering, "I wonder what was wrong. Was it just too creepy?" His "comedian soul" prompted a flood of comments from viewers, such as "Toya’s steel mentality is too much (lol)," "He’s basically a comedian now lol," and "His reflection on the failure is just like a professional comedian," making it a huge hit.
