"Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM ZERO" Theatrical Release Confirmed! "Gundam 50th Anniversary Project" Launches with Wave of New Information

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Gundam series in 2029 since its first anime broadcast, the "Gundam 50th Anniversary Project" has officially launched.

This announcement was made during the "Gundam Conference 2026 SPRING" held on May 15. A wide array of commemorative projects, including new video works, large-scale events, and collaborations, were unveiled all at once at the venue.

Additionally, to mark the start of the 50th-anniversary project, a prologue movie titled "The Boy and Gundam | Mobile Suit Gundam 50th Anniversary -Road to 50- Prologue Movie" (Director: Tsukuro Hayakawa / Music: PEOPLE 1 "Kinjito") was premiered. The film was created with the imagery of time and emotions being passed down through the television series overlapping.
