■ Developments in Video Works

Regarding video productions, a teaser trailer for "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM ZERO"—a prequel to "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," which was released on January 26, 2024—was revealed, and it has been confirmed for a theatrical release. This work is based on a scenario developed during the planning of "SEED FREEDOM" by series composers Chiaki Morosawa and Shigeru Morita, along with director Mitsuo Fukuda.

Furthermore, a message video from director Jim Mickle was premiered at the venue regarding the live-action movie "GUNDAM (Working Title)," a joint production by Bandai Namco Filmworks, Netflix, and Legendary Pictures.

In addition, a remaster project for the original "Mobile Suit Gundam" anime is underway, scheduled for release in the 50th-anniversary year of 2029. It was also announced that a new video production for "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing," which celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, is in the works (details to be announced at a later date).
