"The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World" Season 2 Production Greenlit! Teaser Visual and Celebratory Comments from Original Author and Creators Released

It has been decided that Season 2 of the anime "The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World" (titled "The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World II") will be produced, and a teaser visual has been released.

This work is based on the light novel series published by Kodansha Ranobe Bunko (written by Nana Mikoshiba / illustrated by Riko Korie), and it will be the second season of "The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World," which previously aired as a TV anime from January to March 2023.

The protagonist of this story is Ray White, who is hailed as the world's strongest "Iceblade Sorcerer." Agonized by his own immense power, Ray vanished from the battlefield with deep psychological scars. Hiding his true identity, he enrolls in the Arnold Academy of Magic, where elite sorcerers gather. Despite facing looks of contempt and discrimination from noble sorcerers, he stands up against numerous trials and conspiracies alongside his irreplaceable friends in this classic school fantasy.

Along with the announcement of the Season 2 production, the main staff information has been revealed. Masahiro Takata will serve as director, series composition, and audio director, while the scripts will be handled by Masahiro Takata, Tomoko Shinozuka, and Takahito Onishi. Mariko Kawamoto will handle character design, and Zero-G will take over the animation production starting from Season 2.

Furthermore, the introduction, a teaser visual showcasing the first anime art from Zero-G, and the main character & cast information have been released. For the main characters and cast, reprising their roles from Season 1, Junya Enoki will voice Ray White, Iori Saeki will voice Amelia Rose, and Akira Sekine will voice Arianne Olgren. As they step back into their characters for Season 2, comments have arrived from Enoki, Saeki, and Sekine.

To celebrate the greenlighting of Season 2, a celebratory comment was received from the original author Nana Mikoshiba, and a celebratory illustration with a comment was shared by the original character designer Riko Korie.

Having overcome numerous trials and found a place where he belongs with his irreplaceable friends, Ray's next challenge is the Magics War—a large-scale magical battle where teams of three compete across the boundaries of different academies!
However, ominous shadows creep up on Ray and his companions... Furthermore, the other Seven Grand Sorcerers begin to make their moves one after another?! The curtain rises once again on the school life of the strongest sorcerer, filled with friendship and turbulence!!
