Ray White
A student at the Arnold Academy of Magic, where elite sorcerers from around the world gather, and the only student in the academy from an ordinary family background ("Ordinary"). His true identity is the "Iceblade Sorcerer," hailed as the world's strongest sorcerer. Because he triggered an Overheat (magical area runaway) in a past battle, he currently limits his own power. He has an extremely serious personality, but he lacks common sense at times, occasionally saying and doing things that leave those around him bewildered.

Q1. Your enthusiasm for playing this character again in Season 2

In Season 1, I think we saw a gap between Ray's serious personality and how he suddenly shifts gears and becomes funny. I'm personally looking forward to seeing if he shows that kind of charm in this season as well.

Amelia Rose
A student at the Arnold Academy of Magic and the daughter of the Rose family, one of the Three Grand Noble Families. She boasts skills that rank among the top five in the academy when it comes to magic. On top of that, she is a hard worker, and through special training with Ray, she won the Magics Chevalier rookie tournament. During her school life, she became aware of her feelings for Ray, but at the same time, she feels anxious about having many rivals.

With Season 2 being greenlit several years after the Season 1 broadcast, I could really feel that everyone has loved this work for a long time. I am so happy to be able to meet Amelia and the others again. I'm back! Amelia showed us a story of growth in Season 1, but I think she will show even more growth in the future. I'll continue to do my best alongside her, so please look forward to it!

Q2. Highlights and points of interest for Season 2

Season 1 was a story filled with laughter and tears, where everyone achieved great growth, but I wonder what will happen in Season 2... For now, I hope you look forward to finding out what the Magics War that Arianne mentioned at the end of Season 1 is, and what happened after the quiet final battle between Amelia and Rebecca! I hope to see you all again at the Arnold Academy of Magic!

Arianne Olgren
The daughter of the Olgren family, one of the Three Grand Noble Families, and a powerful sorcerer who reigns at the top of the Diome Academy of Magic. She wishes for a world full of love and peace. For a long time, there was a rift between her and her childhood friend Amelia, but they reconciled after a fierce battle at the Magics Chevalier rookie tournament. Now aiming to participate in the large-scale Magics War, she recruits Ray and Amelia to join her team.

I'm filled with joy, thinking, "It's been a while! Great to see you again!" Since she invited Ray to the Magics War at the end of Season 1, I was excited that we might finally see the continuation. When I read the script I received, it was incredible right from the start! (lol) I'll do my absolute best not to be outpaced by Arianne-chan's energy!

In Season 2, Arianne-chan will interact more with Ray and the others, so I'm also excited to see various sides and expressions of her! Season 2 of the Iceblade anime has been greenlit! This is entirely thanks to everyone who has supported the work. Thank you so much! Iceblade is a work where I crammed in everything I love, and Season 1 became a hot topic in various ways, and I really enjoyed seeing those reactions myself.
Furthermore, I've come to realize the existence of fans not just domestically but also overseas, and I'm deeply moved to think that we've come such a long way...!

As the original author, nothing would make me happier than if everyone enjoys the Iceblade anime again just like Season 1. I hope you will look forward to Season 2. Let's enjoy it together!
