It has been announced that the TV anime adaptation of "Isshiki-san wa Koi o Shiritai" will begin broadcasting in January 2027. Along with this news, the very first animated teaser PV for the series has been unveiled.

This work is a romantic comedy based on the manga by Ayune Araragi, which is currently serialized in "Monthly Shonen Ace" (KADOKAWA).

Rinna Milford Isshiki skipped grades to graduate top of her university class, becoming an inspector at the "Special Investigation Headquarters for Modern Crime" at the mere age of 17. Brilliant, calm, and collected, she is known as "Iron"—a woman supposedly completely detached from anything romantic. However, whenever she is around Meishi Rokutanda, a "clumsy detective" assisting her investigations, her heart races and she gets completely flustered, unable to stop an unexplained acceleration of palpitations. The curtains rise on an ultra-sweet romantic comedy about learning what love is!

In the newly released teaser PV, the character voices of the two leads have been revealed alongside the first-look anime footage. It depicts the unexplained "palpitations" that strike the elite inspector known as "Iron," which only happen when she is with the clumsy detective Meishi. In order to solve this mystery, the two decide to start "dating."

The main cast for the series has also been announced, with Riko Akechi voicing Rinna Milford Isshiki and Shūichirō Umeda voicing Meishi Rokutanda. Character details along with comments from both cast members have arrived.

Furthermore, with the release of the footage, the main staff information has been updated. Kazuya Komai will serve as the director, Deko Akao will handle the series composition, and Sakura Create will take charge of the animation production.
