The broadcasting date for the TV anime "A Livid Lady's Guide to Getting Even" has been decided. Furthermore, the main PV, which features a snippet of the opening theme song "Q.E.D.", has been released, and it has been announced that Yū Serizawa and Shizuka Ishigami will join the cast as additional members.

"A Livid Lady's Guide to Getting Even" is the award-winning work of the "HJ Novel Prize 2021 First Half." On the night of the National Foundation Day party, Elizabeth, the daughter of a duke, is suddenly served with a broken engagement by the Crown Prince, who has shifted his affections to another lady, and she is promptly imprisoned in a dungeon.

Betrayed by her homeland, to which she had dedicated everything, Elizabeth decides to defect with the powerful divine artifact, "The Seven Grimoires (Grimoire Seventh)," in hand. With the help of Lucas, a viscount from a neighboring country, she begins a new life and starts managing a trading company—while secretly harboring a fierce desire for revenge against her homeland. This is an exhilarating, major-turnaround revenge fantasy where a beautiful, genius young lady who has been "betrayed by her fiancé" and "imprisoned" wields the ultimate grimoire to manipulate "connections, economics, and military force" to exact retribution on the traitors.

In the released main PV, you can hear the voices of the previously announced cast members: Mireille Katarina voiced by Ikumi Hasegawa, Lunoa Carlton voiced by Yui Ogura, Misha Tail voiced by Ayumi Uehara, Lucas Lebrick voiced by Yōhei Azakami, and Friede Haldoria voiced by Masaaki Mizunaka. A portion of the opening theme song "Q.E.D." sung by Yui Ogura is also previewed. The content heightens anticipation for how Elizabeth will exact her revenge on her homeland.

Tida, voiced by Serizawa, who was announced as an additional cast member alongside the PV, is a cleric who travels to various places as part of her training and administers healing magic in rural villages. She is a highly energetic and free-spirited girl, so much so that it is hard to believe she is a sister. Reflecting on her role as Tida, Serizawa said, "During the recording for my first appearance, they told me, 'You're putting a bit too much energy into this!' (lol) But that's how much I felt there were plenty of parts to play around with while reading the original novel, so developing the character was a lot of fun." She added, "In the end, while there's some playfulness, she also aligns with the mysterious nature of the work, but whenever she appears, she turns out to be a character you just can't get enough of! Please look forward to it!" Regarding the appeal of the work, she commented, "In modern times, even if something unreasonable happens or you receive extremely unfair treatment, the mainstream approach is to just let it go, forget it, or shrug it off, right?! But in this story, Ellie thoroughly crushes her enemies. There are moments when her ruthlessness takes your breath away, but Ellie's overwhelming strength of will and cleverness feel incredibly satisfying to watch!!"

Elsa Archfield, voiced by Ishigami, is the leader of the adventurer party "Sharp Edge," an A-rank adventurer known by the alias "Elsa the Phoenix," and the possessor of the divine artifact "The Phoenix Sword (Fenice Spada)." Regarding her role as Elsa, Ishigami commented, "I fight bad guys alongside Elizabeth-chan using the divine artifact 'The Phoenix Sword (Fenice Spada)'! Since she is also the leader of 'Sharp Edge,' I focused on effectively expressing her reliability." Regarding the work, she said, "Above all, the exhilaration of the protagonist, Elizabeth-chan, enacting retribution one after another is the best part! Her refreshing level of fury, true to the title, might make you think she's going a bit too far... No, the viewers will surely think, 'It's only natural to go this far!' It's far more terrifying when she is quietly seething from the bottom of her heart rather than shouting... She is definitely someone you should never make angry." Both Serizawa and Ishigami revealed that they felt a sense of exhilaration and satisfaction in seeing Elizabeth thoroughly carry out her revenge.

The TV anime "A Livid Lady's Guide to Getting Even" will begin broadcasting on TV Tokyo every Monday at 2:00 AM starting July 6, on BS11 every Tuesday at 1:30 AM starting July 7, and on AT-X every Monday at 10:30 PM starting July 6. Keep an eye out for further updates on this exhilarating, major-turnaround revenge fantasy, where a beautiful, genius young lady who has been "betrayed by her fiancé" and "imprisoned" wields the ultimate grimoire to manipulate "connections, economics, and military force" to exact retribution on the traitors.
