Chiikawa & Hachiware Munching on "Satapanbin" with Caesar! "So Heartwarming to Watch Them Eat" Resonates with Fans - "Chiikawa" Episode 165

In Episode 165 of the anime Chiikawa, a heartwarming scene was depicted where Chiikawa (CV: Haruka Aoki) and Hachiware (CV: Makoto Tanaka) receive and eat some "satapanbin" from Caesar (CV: Miyuri Shimabukuro).

Sitting on a tree stump, Caesar is seen munching away ("wago-wago-wago") on something that looks like a Sata Andagi with a purple center. Chiikawa and Hachiware happen to walk by. Intrigued, Hachiware says, "Huh... I wonder what that is..." and approaches to ask, "What's... that?"

Caesar replies, "Satapanbin." As the two look confused by the unfamiliar name, Caesar offers it to them, saying, "Here you go!" They happily stuff their faces with the satapanbin, letting out sounds like "Wogo!" and saying, "It's kinda... addictive..."

By the way, "satapanbin" is a dialect word for Sata Andagi used in the Miyako Islands region of Okinawa Prefecture. Judging by the color inside, the one Caesar was eating in the episode appears to be purple yam flavor.
